Care instructions
Cleaning:
The stainless steel parts are dishwasher-safe up to 45°C. However, we still recommend hand washing to protect the water level indicator window over the long term. The control module with the battery must never be submerged in water, sprayed with water or placed in the dishwasher.
Battery and charging port:
Always wipe the charging port dry before charging. Only use a standard power adapter (5V/1A). Fast chargers can damage the battery. Never leave the fountain running in wired mode when unattended. When going on vacation, make sure the battery is fully charged before leaving and check the water level.
Pump:
Clean the pump every 2 weeks. Remove the pump cover, take out the impeller and clean both parts. A clogged pump is the most common cause of weak water flow or loud noises.
Filter:
Replace the activated carbon filter every 3 to 4 weeks when cleaning the fountain. Always soak a new filter in a bowl of clean water for at least 5 minutes before turning on the fountain, otherwise it may overflow.
Water:
Change the water every 3 days. Never run the fountain without water. The minimum water level is 2.5 cm deep.

My Cocker Spaniel has a sensitive stomach and the old water apparently wasn't doing him any good. Since getting the FreshFlow he is more active and his coat looks shinier. Cool water even in summer
