Reinigung:
Die Edelstahlteile sind spülmaschinenfest bis 45°C. Wir empfehlen trotzdem die Handreinigung, um das Sichtfenster des Wasserstandsanzeigers langfristig zu schonen. Das Steuermodul mit dem Akku darf niemals ins Wasser getaucht, abgespritzt oder in die Spülmaschine gegeben werden.
Akku und Ladeanschluss:
Wische den Ladeanschluss vor dem Aufladen immer trocken. Verwende ausschließlich ein Standard-Netzteil (5V/1A). Schnellladegeräte können den Akku beschädigen. Lass den Brunnen nie mit nassem Steuermodul laufen. Bei Urlaub: Stelle sicher, dass der Akku voll geladen ist, bevor du gehst, und überprüfe den Wasserstand.
Pumpe:
Die Pumpe alle 2 Wochen reinigen. Dazu Pumpendeckel abnehmen, das Laufrad entnehmen und beides säubern. Eine verstopfte Pumpe ist die häufigste Ursache für schwachen Wasserfluss oder laute Geräusche.
Filter:
Den Aktivkohlefilter alle 3 bis 4 Wochen wechseln, wenn du den Brunnen reinigst. Einen neuen Filter immer zuerst 5 Minuten in einer Schüssel mit sauberem Wasser einweichen, bevor du den Brunnen einschaltest, sonst kann es zu Überlauf kommen.
Wasser:
Das Wasser alle 3 Tage wechseln. Den Brunnen nie ohne Wasser laufen lassen, der Mindestwasserstand liegt bei 2,5 cm Tiefe.

Bruno had two bladder infections in a row last year. The vet said he was drinking too little water. I set up the FreshFlow 6 weeks ago and now he goes to it on his own. Several times a day. No problems since then. Cleaning it in 30 seconds is also a dream. Nothing like my old plastic fountain that I could never get properly clean.
I went through three different plastic fountains before this. After 2 weeks they all had that slippery film that was almost impossible to get off. The PetLoom is completely stainless steel so nothing really builds up. Three parts. Quick rinse under hot water and done. My two dogs love the flowing water.

Honestly I often forgot to refill the water. Sometimes it sat there for 2 days. After I read that bacteria can build up in it and make dogs sick I felt guilty all the time. Now the water keeps flowing and stays fresh. I only have to refill it every few days. Finally I feel like I'm doing the right thing.
